The big show again had great weather, huge crowds and hundreds of cars. We filled up our side of the block in front of the Black Duck pub and spent an enjoyable day talking with the throngs about the joys and sorrows of British tin. Morris took home Penny's choise award with his rejuvinated '59 MG A. Click on the picture for more photos.
The Jagnuts from Regina cruised up for the show and a BBQ. We took over 21st Street in front of the Bessborough hotel and had a grat day
Morris's long serving and recently restored MG-A is "discovered" and makes its acting debut on the set of the "Body and Soul" TV seies. Click on picture.
Morris contributed his body to the cause. The photographer got tired of waiting for a hit and ... Better run Bob, he ain't smilin' now!

While waiting for your lottery ticket to make you a multi-millionaire so you can afford a real DB5, why not spring a couple of bucks for a chance to win a Danbury Mint 1/24th scale model of the famous James Bond DB5. The metal die-cast replica comes with all the secret spy features that 007 got to use in Thunderball and Goldfinger: pop up bullet shield, rotating lisense plates, front signal light machine guns, oil slick dispenser (sorry - no oil supplied), tire slashing knock off spinner, and even a working ejector seat.
In addition to the wizzo spy stuff, there is amazing detail in the actual car - flip forward leather seats, opening bonnet, boot and doors, swing down sunvisors, opening petrol caps and a hidden spare.
2nd Prize: a complete Vehicle Detailing package from Planet Car Wash.
3rd prize: Vehicle lubrcation Service from Ens Lexus Toyota.
Ticket are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 from any SBCC member. Draw date: August 10th, 2002.
